STAN (Stabilisation and Transfer of the Acutely unwell Neonate)

STAN (Stabilisation and Transfer of the Acutely unwell Neonate) is a high quality course designed to teach, embed and simulate the theoretical understanding and practical skills needed for a safe and efficient neonatal transfer. The course is suitable for neonatal consultants and paediatric consultants with a neonatal interest, ANNPs, ST4+ paediatric and neonatal grid trainees and senior nurses with strong neonatal ITU experience.

This course is an excellent introduction for clinicians considering working for a neonatal transfer service, provides insight for unit-based teams that work with regional transfer teams, and is a great CPD opportunity for existing transport clinicians.

The experienced faculty includes consultants and senior nurses from the London Neonatal Transfer Service and other transport teams together with experienced medical simulation faculty.

The course is being run in Bristol from 22-23rd April 2023. The cost is £699 for the two day course which includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments. A 10% early bird discount is available with the code VALENTINE2023 from now until midnight on 14th February.
