Regional OOP

Last updated August 2024

If you are considering an Out Of Program Pause there are many specialist and generalist job opportunities accessible within the region. These posts can help guide career choices, give you specialist clinical experience not available in training, or give more flexible working patterns. The posts can be paired with non-clinical duties to help build your CV and give management and teaching experience.

Funding is always changing therefore, what is available this year may not necessarily be available next year. Likewise, often the job you want may not already exist but if you have something in mind it is worth speaking the college tutor at that site to see what opportunities can be created.

Below is a list of each training site and examples of fellowships they have offered in past. If these are of interest you, please discuss with the college tutors as early as possible. In addition, some adverts will be posted on NHS jobs.
