Neonatal Bedside Ultrasound Course – Friday 23rd June
This one day course focuses on the practical application of bedside ultrasonography of the heart, lungs and abdomen in neonates with an emphasis on ‘hands on learning’. Short talks will be followed by workshops helping to familiarize candidates in small group teaching with available techniques and equipment. You will be scanning babies, whose parents have kindly agreed to assist us with the course as well as mannikins, provided to us by Intelligent Ultrasound.
The number of candidates will be limited to 16.
Aimed at Paediatric/Neonatal ST Doctors – ST4+
Venue: Southmead Hospital. It will run from approximately 0830-1730.
Cost: No course fee.
