Peninsula Trainees Research Audit and Innovation Network
PenTRAIN (Peninsula Trainees Research Audit and Innovation Network) is the paediatric trainee research network (TRN) for Devon and Cornwall. We bring together paediatric trainees across the region to lead and collaborate on projects that make a difference to child health. We work with multidisciplinary colleagues regionally and nationally to support trainees to lead local/regional/national research projects and develop their skills as paediatric researchers.
We are predominantly a group of trainees interested in doing research and improving access and knowledge about research for paediatric trainees, but we aim to be inclusive of the whole child health/neonatal workforce.
We collaborate with clinicians, university researchers and methodological experts (e.g. Research Design Service, statisticians) to offer advice and support on any research/improvement projects you’re planning. We signpost to support and education about research and also run our own regional and national projects that you can get involved with.
Whatever your research goal from tiny project, or help getting started with your first publication (no project needed!) to big scale collaborations we want to help. To find out more see our flyer posted below, view our induction video, or get in touch with PenTRAIN Chair Eva – pentrain@paedshub.co.uk.
